PBA President Pat Lynch (speaking) was joined by Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito (2nd on left), NYPD Commissioner William Bratton, and family members of slain NYPD Police officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu at a news conference inside New York City Hall in Manhattan on Thursday, January 22, 2015.

Patrolmen's Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch has sued a PR firm that represented a candidate who failed to oust him from office, alleging the company stole a union mailing list.

Lynch charges in the suit filed in Manhattan that Shea Communications and candidates on the Strengthen the Shield ticket either improperly accessed PBA files or obtained the information through a third party. Shea CEO George Shea said he had nothing whatsoever to do with the mailing list.
