PBA CONTRIBUTES $25,000 REWARD IN POLICE SHOOTING

The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association of the City of New York, the union that represents shot police officers Herman Yan and Russell Timoshenko, is contributing $25,000 reward money to Cop Shot for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the shooting.

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“We are infuriated by this act of depravity against two police officers who were doing their job when fired upon without warning.  The 23,000 members of the New York City PBA will not rest until these cowardly thugs are brought to justice.  We are confident that they will be arrested in due course, but hope that the additional $25,000 reward money will speed up the process.  Every police officer in this city, regardless of assignment, is saddened by this barbaric act and is keeping officers Timoshenko and Yan and their families in our thoughts and prayers.”
