PAT LYNCH CALLS JUDGE SCHEINDLIN’S REMARK
ABOUT HOW BODY CAMERAS WOULD HAVE
PREVENTED ERIC GARNER’S DEATH “ABSURD.”

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“Judge Scheindlin’s contention that body cams would have made a difference is absurd.  These police officers were deployed to correct a crime condition by making a lawful  arrest which Mr. Garner resisted unfortunately resulting in this tragedy. It was obvious that they were being recorded and it didn't change anything.”
