Parkchester Department of Public Safety

Compensation:  The salary offer is 74,713.60 annually, 1436.80 paid on weekly basis and also includes: a Safe Harbor 401k Plan through Principle with a 6% match on your contributions after 3 months of employment; 20 days of vacation (prorated for 2017) 11 paid holidays; 3 personal days and 10 sick days which are accrued.  The company also provides a $100,000 life insurance policy and dental plan. 

Duties and Responsibilities:   Parkchester Department of Public Safety Sergeant is responsible to supervise all Department operations within Parkchester during tour of duty.  Immediately respond to and direct activities of serious radio calls and emergencies.  In cases of fire resulting in property damage or death or deaths resulting from homicide, suicide or accident or when the heat or lights is lost to one or more buildings, ensure that the proper notifications are made to management.  Conduct roll calls, give out assignments to patrol officers, inspect uniforms and equipment of uniformed members and ensure that all officers are wearing their safety vests. Ensure that the director is apprised of all unusual occurrences which occur on property.
