Pat Lynch spoke alongside Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, other elected officials and 9/11 responders at a Staten Island news conference calling on Congress to renew the Zadroga Act and continue funding for the WTC Health Program. Lynch said that the nation has a moral obligation to continue caring for injured or ill 9/11 responders, adding that it is equally important “for those young police officers and firefighters that are out on patrol right now to know that we take our moral obligations seriously.”
