PBA PRESIDENT REACTS TO THE CONVICTION
OF PO RAPHAEL LORA ON MANSLAUGHTER CHARGES

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“The conviction of this off-duty officer who was taking legitimate police action is devastatingly wrong.  It will send a message to all police officers that when they hang up the uniform at the end of their tour and encounter a problem, they should walk on by for their own sake and for the sake of their families.  This was a bad decision that sends a bad message.”
