July 3, 2008 To All Retired MembersThe PBA has been informed that retroactive pay for those who retired since August 1, 2004 will be paid on August 8, 2008. Checks will be available to be picked up on the 2nd floor of One Police Plaza between 1000 and 1600 hours on Friday, August 8th and on the following Monday through Friday (August 11 thru 15) during the same hours. Any checks that are not picked up during that period will be placed in the mail to the last address of record held by the NYPD. Please note that checks will not be sent to the address used by the police pension system. To have the check mailed to a different address, send a signed and notarized letter indicating the new address along with your tax registry number or social security number to:
