The NYC PBA continued a time-honored tradition of supporting needy communities during the holiday season by donating hundreds upon hundreds of toys to those in need. The first event was at 1000 hours when the PBA Canteen and a panel truck carried loads of toys to the Church of the Nazarene on Central Avenue in Far Rockaway. The church serves a poor community that was ravaged by the Superstorm Sandy last October. The PBA captured the event on video, including an interview of PBA president Pat Lynch by New York 1 News Queens reporter Tamara Wooley.
