Pat Lynch reacts to PERB decision to grant impasse

PBA President Patrick J. Lynch said:

“This city didn’t offer a dime’s worth of raise that wasn’t tied to a quarter’s worth of give backs during the so-called negotiating sessions. Binding arbitration is a time consuming and costly process for both sides, but it is the only chance NYC police officers have to win a fair contract. We want and deserve a fair day’s pay for a dangerous day’s work.”
