PBA President reacts to the death of Osama bin Laden

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“Thanks to the resolve of our country and the skill of our Navy Seals New York City police officers feel a sense of justice today.  While all Americans rightfully gather in our streets and chant USA with pride, New York City police officers stand silently protecting their rights and defending against the next possible attack.  While New York City police officers’ minds are planning and our eyes are watching our hearts are cheering with the crowd.”

Twenty-three New York City police officers died in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
