PBA President addresses "Right to Record" police lawsuit

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“This lawsuit is a solution in search of a problem.  We do not debate that people have the right to photograph or video tape police officers in a public place while officers are working.  No one, however, has the right to interfere with police business or jeopardize the safety of our officers, and that includes inciting a crowd or inflaming a conflict. The use of necessary force is always ugly but sometimes unavoidable in policing and some unscrupulous people use that fact against our members for their own purposes.”
