PBA President Pat Lynch calls for the immediate dismissal of pickax wielding CCRB member Mitchell G. Taylor

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“I call on Mayor deBlasio and the City Council to immediately replace Mitchell G. Taylor as a member of the Civilian Complaint Review Board because, as a graphic video makes clear, he hasn’t the judgment or the temperament to pass fair judgment on the actions of New York City police officers. The video of his assault on hotel employees shows that he cannot control simple disputes without resorting to violence, ­events that the average officer encounters day in and day out. How then can he judge police officers? He should be kicked off the CCRB immediately.”
