PBA President weighs in on CCRB Chairman's conflict of interest

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“How can the law firm of the sitting chairman of the CCRB earn money by suing the city over cases that the CCRB has substantiated against police officers? That sounds like the very definition of a conflict of interest. Substantiating a citizen’s complaint against a police officer gives support to the civil suit. It’s an irreconcilable conflict of interest.”
