PBA President Pat Lynch on Arrest of Motorcycle Fanatics Who Injured Police Officers

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“The root of this problem can be traced to a police staffing shortage. These bikers come out in droves, and our officers are expected to corral them without enough manpower to do the job. This is just another quality-of-life issue created by under-staffing. The situation is seriously hazardous to our members and a threat to public safety. These officers were injured and ordinary civilians are equally at risk of injury or worse. To solve this problem our troops will need reinforcements.”
