Speaking to reporters outside of Queens criminal court before the start of the trial of the killer of P.O. Brian Moore, Pat Lynch said that New York City police officers would be there through every step of the process to see the cop-killer face justice. During a break in the trial, Lynch slammed the "insulting" excuses offered by the defense, including their claim that the cop-killer's epilepsy caused him to murder P.O. Moore in cold blood.

Pat Lynch’s call made in the year 2000 for a boycott of Springsteen shows — following the release of the song “American Skin, 41 shots” — popped up again in an analysis of minority protests published today in the magazine “The Week”.

Pat Lynch called for a Bronx Supreme Court Judge to be held accountable for “extraordinarily poor judgment” for releasing a man arrested with a bag full of guns and knives on to the streets who later shot a Yonkers Police Officer.  The injured officer, Kayla Maher, is the daughter of a retired NYPD Sergeant.  She is expected to fully recover.
