Lynch states that Garner did not die of a chokehold.

Following an announcement of the findings of an autopsy review by an expert for the Garner family, Pat Lynch tells reporters that Garner did not die of a chokehold which would have resulted in asphyxiation and that what appears to be a chokehold was actually a take down method as Garner resisted arrest. He also stated that injuries discovered during the autopsy were consistent with damage from life saving measures rendered to a man in cardiac arrest.
