PRESS RELEASE

August 12, 2011

Pat Lynch reacts to the assignment of police officers to the Verizon strike

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“What makes the job of being a police officer unique is that even though we support and believe in the value of unionism and the fight for fairness by the working person our professionalism allows us to stand between opposing sides to protect both.  It’s one of the things that makes being a police officer a tough job and sets us apart from other professions.”
