PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:
“Integrity is essential to the believability of information produced during an investigation and there are certainly many questions orbiting the integrity of the so called ‘ticket fixing’ investigation. From day one, this union has questioned the leaking of wire tap recordings and confidential grand jury information to news reporters. Now we see what appears to be a serious break in the chain of custody of investigatory evidence resulting from a party, which was attended by non-law enforcement personnel, conducted in what should be the secure offices. That certainly raises questions about the credibility of the evidence produced from the investigation.”
