Pat Lynch slams the city’s efforts to deny deceased PO Frank Macri’s family a line of duty pension

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

"It is reprehensible that the City would go to such extreme legal lengths to deny police officer Macri's family the line of duty pension he deserves.  He was not a smoker and was in excellent health prior to his service during the rescue, recovery and cleanup of the attack.  He died of lung cancer after 9/11 exposure. The city's extraordinary legal action to deny his survivors a line of duty pension is immoral and they should be ashamed."
