Judge says cop-shooter must stand trial

PBA President Patrick J. Lynch said:  

“Rashun Robinson shot police officer James Li three times to avoid a fare beating arrest because he was carrying an illegal firearm and was wanted for an outstanding drug warrant in Pennsylvania.  He made a ridiculous claim to investigators that he had a right to defend himself and that he hated cops.  Today, a Brooklyn criminal court judge threw out a motion to dismiss the charges so now this wannabe cop-killer can try to peddle his lame excuses to a judge and jury in a courtroom full of the very police officers he professes to hate.”
