PBA President says negotiating disciplinary procedures will help rebuild the morale of a dispirited NYPD

Following the passage of a bill (S7801) that will restore the right of municipal unions to negotiate disciplinary procedures, PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“Police officers work to ensure fair treatment for all on our city’s streets and that same fairness should be afforded to them.  This law will allow us to work with the NYPD to ensure that our members are treated fairly and with respect.  If it becomes law, it will be another step in rebuilding the morale of a dispirited police department.”
