PBA President Patrick J. Lynch on the Renewal of the Zadroga Act

PBA president Patrick J. Lynch said:

“We are very gratified that the united voices of all those who heroically sacrificed their health for this city and country were heard in Washington.  On behalf of all the New York City police officers who have been and will be affected by their exposure during the WTC tragedy, I’d like to thank our local elected officials who have fought long and hard for passage of this critical bill.   Police officers responded to the emergency without asking questions because they had faith that they would be cared for if injured or sickened and now that faith has been restored.”
