PBA Statement on Cop-Killer's Library "Celebration"

PBA President Patrick J. Lynch said:

“This is a celebration of terrorism paid for with your tax dollars.  Robert Hayes was a domestic terrorist who murdered one cop and tried to kill five others.  The only people mourning his passing are his fellow terrorists and would-be cop-killers.  Mayor de Blasio and the City Council are funding the New York Public Library to the tune of $150 million or more a year.  If they allow this disgusting event to take place in a library facility, they are supporting terrorism, as well.”
